Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client, who is a leading expert provider of disinfection, sterilisation & decontamination solutions, in recruiting a Service and Test Engineer.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £46,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday, bank holidays, an annual company performance-related bonus, and bi-annual company social events!

This is a full-time role Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

1. Service autoclaves and washers to prevailing standards or procedures at customers\’ sites.
2. Validate autoclaves and washers to prevailing standards or procedures at customers\’ sites, including report generation.
3. Service Airflow equipment, including report generation at customers\’ sites.
4. Provide excellent customer service and support in person, by phone, and email.
5. Work as part of a team to support colleagues.
6. Promote products and services.
7. Other duties may be assigned.

The ideal candidate:

1. Strong communication skills required for interaction with all levels of the organization.
2. Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality system requirements.
3. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, customers, and health authority/regulatory officials.
4. Highly computer literate with regular use of Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and working knowledge of TQ Soft and IP Reports.
5. Ability to read and understand highly technical material.
6. Working knowledge of steam, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
7. Ability to interpret and use both Mechanical and Electrical drawings including P&IDs (electromechanical).
8. Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Level 1 – Any of the following:

1. ENG01 Washer disinfectors – Weekly Testing
2. ENG02 Porous Load Sterilizers – Weekly Testing
3. ENG16 Vacuum Benchtop Sterilisers – Quarterly Testing
4. STM4 Transportable vacuum steam sterilizers – Periodic Testing

Level 2 – Any of the following:

1. HTM2030 Washer Disinfectors – Periodic Testing
2. ENG04 Porous Load Sterilizers – Quarterly Testing
3. ENG05 Washer Disinfectors – Periodic Testing
4. ENG12 Porous Load Sterilisers – Steam Testing
5. STM2 Large porous load sterilizers – Quarterly Testing

Level 3 – Any of the following:

1. HTM01-01 Part C Steam sterilization
2. HTM01-01 Part D Washer-disinfectors
3. ENG06 Porous Load Sterilizers – Annual Testing
4. ENG18 Vacuum Benchtop Sterilisers – Annual Testing
5. STM3 Large porous load sterilizers – Annual Testing & Revalidation
6. WTM1 Washer disinfectors – Periodic Testing
