Infrastructure Network Operations Engineer – AWS

Join a dynamic infrastructure team as an AVP/VP-level Network Operations Engineer. This role focuses on supporting and optimizing enterprise, data center, and cloud network environments. You\’ll work hands-on with a range of technologies, troubleshooting complex issues and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot enterprise, data center, and cloud network infrastructure
• Handle operations tickets and resolve connectivity issues
• Implement network changes in line with strict change management processes
• Monitor network health using tools like SolarWinds; participate in on-call rotations
• Lead incident response and collaborate across teams for issue resolution and RCA
• Maintain technical documentation, including diagrams and runbooks
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvement

Core Skills & Technologies

Network & Security

• LAN/WAN, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, QoS, STP
• Firewall configuration and troubleshooting (Checkpoint, ASA, Fortinet)
• Network segmentation, NAC (Cisco ISE), IPSEC, MACsec, RSA

Cloud & Datacenter

• AWS/Azure networking: VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway
• Spine-leaf architecture, Cisco ACI, NX-OS, VxLAN
• WLAN: centralized and cloud-based (Meraki experience a plus)

Monitoring & Tools

• SolarWinds, Dynatrace, CLI-based troubleshooting
• ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
• Documentation and diagramming best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Preferred certifications: CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, NSE, CCSA/CCSE
