Team/Role Overview

The well-established team of programme and project managers covers a number of cross-functional horizontal regulatory and technology programs. The team is part of Finance, Market and Credit Risk Technology, focused on managing Price Risk related projects end-to-end across Markets business.

What you'll do

  • The role focuses on the adoption of core deliverables of Price Risk and Data programme.
  • The role will oversee delivery/execution of the project work, in partnership with multiple teams, including Technology, Programme Governance, and Price Risk business team, ensuring that the defined programme of work across multiple stakeholders and delivery teams is delivered on time, and according to regulatory and audit expectations.
  • The focus will be to ensure a strong control environment and appropriate business processes are fully adopted and relevant artefacts retained to evidence full adoption, particularly under the new Data deliverables.
  • Leadership/management of multi-year projects; execute complex projects that cover different functions and asset classes across FMCRT and markets Technology.
  • Provides high SME knowledge of Investment banking process controls, and uses this to design and implement these in line functions and drive change management business adoption.
  • Provide credible challenge to the project members on their plans, delivery, and documentation.
  • Monitor and track delivery of activity against milestones, including managing dependencies across related projects.
  • Will face off to senior Technology and business management across global functional leads.
  • Ensure project documentation and auditable artefacts are created and stored, as required by Citi programme management standards.
  • Prepare executive/management level reporting and other regulator-required presentations.

What we'll need from you

  • Relevant work experience, with PMP or other Project Management certification.
  • Proven experience of designing and implementing a strong control environment in a business function.
  • Highly experienced and proficient in creating senior management reporting decks to introduce and drive new initiatives, controls, and business process change.
  • Excellent project planning/organizational skills, including an ability to lead project teams towards clear delivery plans across geography, function, and other organizational structures.
  • Excellent and thorough knowledge of the Markets, Finance and Risk systems infrastructure and ease in interfacing with different stakeholder groups (including Technology Teams, Internal Audit, Senior Management, etc.).
  • Problem-solving ability and good business judgment - knowing when to escalate, who to keep informed to identify next steps/resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision, self-starter, adaptable.
