We are supporting a growing, fast-paced procurement company to recruit for a Category Manager for their 'impulse buy' division. This role can be based in either Surrey or London and would require 1 day per week for supplier visits, 2 days from the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities for the Category Manager:

  • Manage the full end to end processes for the impulse buy category (snacks & drinks)
  • Forecasting mid and long term sales vs cost
  • Analysing volume vs price, making educated commercial decisions to generate maximum profit
  • Supplier management, including regular reviews of performance and KPI delivery
  • Conducting supplier site visits 1 day per week, to manage relationships

Key Skills for the Category Manager:

  • Experience at Managerial level is essential taking ownership of a category
  • Commercially minded
  • Background in Food/Drink procurement is essential
  • Proficient in Excel & Data Analysis
  • Confident, personable and able to build and grow relationships
