THE ROLE
As a member of the Banks Senior Leadership Team, you will have primary accountability for the performance and delivery of the product operations team and bring experience, knowledge, and future vision for transforming the product operations team including its strategy, operating model, product and service offerings and workforce. This includes driving the integration of new activities into the Product Operations Team which continue to centralise operational roles from within the product teams to help define and implement changes to the target operating model for the Banks Corporate Services.
The Product Operations Team will provide operational processing support as well as prepare key financial reconciliations for financial management and reporting. The function will combine product and operational knowledge to support the delivery of key projects. As well as devising, owning and leading the strategy for the Product Operations Team and support of the product areas, you will also manage and scale the product operations, fraud & financial crime, business resilience and operational control team across multiple locations as appropriate, and develop standardised practices across the business as appropriate and ensure processes are documented.
With a proven track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary talent teams in new endeavours and delivering solutions, you will also have the ability to effectively drive business, culture and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment (e.g., conveying information to diverse audiences in a way that is easily understood and actionable), and be comfortable with public speaking and have the ability to creatively and concisely express ideas to business and technical audiences. Substantial experience in leading cross-functional teams, multidisciplinary environments, operating and influencing effectively across the organisation and within complex contexts is also required, as is experience of leading and building high performing operations teams.
