About the Role

Ageas is on a journey of transformation to become a leading digital insurer. Our Digital team is expanding, offering exciting opportunities for you to contribute to our digital transformation as a Senior UX/UI Designer. You will be responsible for delivering user experience and interface design, enhancing Ageas’ online presence, and designing the digital customer experience journey, including brochureware and full online applications and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure visitors have a positive experience on the Ageas website.
  • Collaborate with the digital analytics team to identify and optimize issues within the customer journey, including managing multivariate testing.
  • Align functionality, site structure, information, and architecture with a superior customer experience.
  • Conduct user testing sessions and research to inform UX strategies.
  • Create concepts, designs, and tests to ensure a best-in-class customer journey and UI.
  • Ensure the website is compliant, accurate, on brand, and meets TCF guidelines.
  • Contribute to web projects such as promotional initiatives, product offerings, and price changes.
  • Work with agile teams to implement and manage change.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a user-focused UX/UI designer.
  • Experience working with Agile and Scrum teams (desired).
  • Proven experience in building, testing, and implementing websites.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret user journey stats and digital analytics.
  • Expert knowledge of design tools.
  • Experience in user research.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and interaction design.
  • Knowledge of best practices in usability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting designs and milestones to stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and escalate risks when necessary.

Additional Information

Most work will be remote, supported by necessary equipment. Occasional travel to our Bournemouth office will be required.
