Your role:
We are looking for our next Analyst - Investment Advisory (Stewardship, Governance and Engagement) to join our team in our EMEA headquarter in Henley-on-Thames! In this role you'll work within the Investment Advisory team, who provides governance, stewardship and proxy voting advice to the Equities teams. This team provides support to the fund managers on corporate engagement.
What we are looking for:
- Daily support of proxy voting process across HIC including maintaining spreadsheets for voting records.
- Management of voting data for monthly reports, client requests or presentation materials.
- Support the Investment Advisory team with analysing and reporting proxy voting and engagement data.
- Assist with the delivery and implementation of systems and tools to ensure the HIC can comply with their ESG obligations.
- Undertake governance research activities to prepare for corporate engagement with issuers.
- Develop a working knowledge of internal ESG tools and platforms in order to obtain and analyse ESG data.
- Respond to bespoke Fund Manager, client and sales information requests.
- Assist and/or lead on ad hoc projects as necessary.
- Assist with mentoring and training of Junior Analyst team members.
