This company is a leading media business and an international brand. They use tech-enabled creative production and procurement services to amplify marketing campaigns. Having recently acquired a new publishing house, they are looking to hire a new Commercial Finance Analyst to support their growth. The business offers a collaborative working culture and the opportunity to step into a truly commercial role. You will be joining an established and ambitious finance team.

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will provide financial analysis and advice to optimise business results. Your role involves identifying the root causes of problems, improving processes, and ensuring strong financial control. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with operational management to understand business drivers and improve performance.
  • Managing planning and forecasting processes.
  • Enhancing the effectiveness of the Finance function through projects and process improvements.
  • Ensuring adherence to financial governance frameworks.
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis and support on financial matters.

This role offers opportunities to develop analytical skills and commercial knowledge in a dynamic environment.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or near completion of one of these qualifications.
  • Experience as a management accountant, finance analyst, or in a commercial role.
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with financial systems like ERP and reporting platforms.
  • Good grasp of general accounting processes.
  • Experience with cross-border trading and multi-country stakeholder management is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear and concise information sharing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across functions and geographies.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
