Perfect opportunity for a Category Manager (Insight) working in FMCG who loves to work closely with commercial and enjoys bringing the all-important numbers to life. This role includes a customer-facing element working closely with retailers to ensure the right product portfolio is on the shelves for the customer and consumer. Working closely with commercial and development teams, supporting future commercial projects, giving that vital insight into future market trends. Customer facing - working closely with relevant contacts within the retail customers giving exposure to a vast range of knowledge and connections across the industry. Analysing data converting it into a narrative that explains the consumer insight clearly and concisely. Communication - verbal and written form. Massively important in equal measure. Experience in category marketing, ideally with retailer customers but not essential. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. A confident and clear communicator in all areas of written and verbal communication. Professional and engaging, able to build relationships within the business and with external contacts. Some customer-facing experience would be ideal but not essential. Familiar with deadline-driven environments, able to work on own initiative, plan and prioritise effectively.
