Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas and Petrochemical Industries on a contract basis.
Hybrid working – 1day / week at the Client Office and 2 days / week at Aberdeen\’s office.

The Role
You will be supporting delivery of engineering excellence in their assigned project(s) through coordinating and delivering the engineering for an assigned project scope(s) to schedule and in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, and standards.

This will include projects in full lifecycles ranging from early Study / FEED into detail design which will cover sectors within the O&G, renewable energy, pharmaceutical and chemicals. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the overall flowline and well hook-up delivery programme
- Hybrid client facing role that requires minimum 1day / week based at client office based in Kingswells
- Client role duties include but limited to liaison and meetings with Mariner operations, drilling & wells, sub-surface, maintenance and planning
- Role involves all typical Wood SPE duties for delivering brownfield modifications from scope initiation to close out
