We are seeking an experienced Framework Manager to lead one of our major nuclear clients’ technical frameworks and develop further business across a range of disciplines. This pivotal role involves shaping and driving our nuclear and defence projects, ensuring excellence in delivery, and fostering strong client relationships. As a Framework Manager, you will play a critical role in advancing our industry and creating lasting impact. This role would suit someone either a Electrical/Mechanical or Civil/Structural Chartered Engineer with a defence/nuclear engineering background. They will have experience in the project management of multidisciplined engineering design teams and with demonstrable knowledge of engineering and government procurement contracts. With seniority of the role we would expect the candidate to have at least 8 years post chartered experience. Travel will be around the home counties.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies for Specialist Engineering related frameworks, aligning with Thornton Tomasetti’s vision and wider business goals.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the client, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee site wide engineering projects, ensuring successful project delivery, quality, and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with client teams, including engineers, nuclear specialists, and project managers.
  • Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, lead bids and proposals, and contribute to business expansion onsite.
  • Industry Influence: Represent Thornton Tomasetti at industry events, conferences, and forums, advocating for nuclear solutions.
