Shift Manager Salary: £38,000 to £42,000 + Pension + Bens Continental Shift Pattern – 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off 7-7 Location: Keighley Reference: Jo6509/SB The Company My client is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers within its field of food based packaging products and associated processes. The site in Keighley is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure organisation. Key Skills • Manufacturing/Production Supervisory Experience • Ideally FMCG Packaging Manufacturing Knowledge • Good Working Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day manufacturing operations on site. You will be responsible for managing a team of shift operatives together with the complete production facilities on this site on shift. The ideal candidate will come from a similar manufacturing/operations supervisory background, with experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing techniques within a fast paced manufacturing arena and a working knowledge of TPM. This successful candidate will conduct appraisals with employees and operationally manage key performance indicators across all areas of production & engineering, to ensure that all targets are hit, to fulfil their customer requirements.
