Drive implementation of Enterprise Data Quality Capability (people, process, culture, tools) and specific initiatives under the umbrella of the Data Quality Surge program. Launch and drive the data quality factory-as-a-service capability to certify data and analytics assets across the data systems landscape of Mars Snacking. This scope includes all data source systems, subscribing systems, analytical apps, AI models, and cloud and on-premises technology ecosystems. Support the implementation and embedment of Data Quality tools.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or business analytics or related major with equivalent business experience. MBA/Master's degree preferred.
- Significant prior experience in large-scale program management with a focus on data management and data transformation.
- Practical experience with Data Quality program execution for product, vendor and (or) customer data domains.
- Significant experience in the field.
- Strong functional knowledge of internal and external data assets created in technology platforms such as ERP, Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Finance and R&D operations.
- Experience driving scrum teams.
- Prior experience with engaging both technical and business audiences on various levels of seniority.
- Practical experience with implementation of the DQ tooling, such as Collibra, Informatica, Syniti, Infosteward, MS Purview and/or others.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Own initiatives and programs targeted at data quality improvement within the DQ surge program remit.
- Run data quality factory (data profiling, monitoring, DQ rules definition and cleansing activities).
- Define backlog of data quality issues in line with the 'Capture, Curate, Consume' framework.
- Embed the DQ tool into the processes and activities under his/her remit.
- Deploy policies, standards, and best practices for effective data quality management across data assets.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies that align with the organization's data quality objectives.
- Oversee and/or drive the implementation of data quality initiatives.
- Report on the status.
- Drive regular assessments of data assets to identify data quality issues.
- Contribute to the definition of data governance policies.
- Contribute strongly to forming of data champions organization in Mars Snacking.
- Support the landing of the data stewardship operating model into the mega process or a function.
