Personal Injury Claims Handler responsibilities: * Directly managing claims up to a value of £25k across all areas of Personal Injury in accordance with the claim’s philosophy, claims handling procedures and service levels * Acting as a point of technical expertise to help shape the teams ongoing strategy. * Carrying out departmental audits to ensure best practice within the department * Providing assistance, coaching and training colleagues to ensure a high level of technical ability within the team * Supporting the team leader in the delivery of change projects to ensure continual improvement * Working closely with internal claims teams such as Credit Hire and counter fraud to ensure claims with these elements are correctly managed and risks mitigated.
