A high-end, luxury retailer is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team! The business has grown by 25% in the last year and has many exciting projects on the way, and therefore needs someone hands-on who can support the business growth. This role is a blend of management accounts, business partnering, small team management and project support. This role has progression to Finance Manager within the next 2 years!
Your new role:
- Ownership of Management Accounts
- Month-end duties
- Managing a small finance team of 2 juniors
- Supporting external audit
- VAT & internal controls
- Cross-functional business partnering
- Ad-hoc project work
- Proactively identify and implement any areas that need improvement.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), either:
- ACA practice trained candidate looking for first step into industry, ideally with retail client experience OR you’ll be an industry trained with management accounts experience, retail industry experience a bonus but not an essential!
You’ll have the drive & motivation to lead a small team and support the businesses exciting period of growth! You’ll have the motivation to prove yourself within this role, to be able to be promoted to Finance Manager when the existing Finance Manager is promoted in due course.
