Join us as an Engagement and Partnerships Manager, Innovation & Partnership. In this role, you’ll be responsible for working collaboratively with bank leaders and external partners to identify how disruptive new technologies can help us better serve our customers. We’ll look to your expert inputs to scope the approach to leading innovation sprints to systematically explore opportunities and assess potential for further scaling. You’ll play an important part in shaping the future of the bank and impacting the lives of the customers we serve.
What you'll do:
- Work with external partners and bank leaders to identify opportunities for new technologies to be applied to better serve our customers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the bank to identify and understand strategic innovation priorities and define the best way to systematically explore and validate how new technologies can accelerate and enhance delivery of these strategic innovation priorities.
- Scope the approach to testing new concepts and ideas, supporting in the execution of aligned projects and programmes.
- Identify and build relationships with external partners who can bring new capabilities and insights to the bank, in support of delivery of our strategic innovation priorities.
- Manage relevant stakeholder relationships across the bank, ensuring activities have robust sponsorship and alignment across our innovation activities.
- Lead collaboration with external partners, including negotiating contracts and building effective relationships.
- Gain support for aligned innovation projects through relevant senior bank committees and support initiatives to progress through required governance processes.

- Experience in exploring and implementing innovative, technology-enabled solutions is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding and background in the commercial banking sector.
- Experience of delivering projects through multiple phases and taking concepts forward.
- A strong understanding of the external innovation landscape, new technologies and their impact on customers.
- Great communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, including at the executive level.
