Merlin Entertainments is undergoing a Digital and Data Transformation to enhance the end-to-end guest journey. As Corporate Solutions Director , you will lead the technology solution strategy for enterprise initiatives, ensuring innovative, scalable, and secure technology solutions for Finance and HR platforms . This pivotal role involves aligning technical solutions with business objectives, managing key stakeholders, and driving transformation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Solution Development

• Shape and lead the organisation’s tech solution strategy, aligning with long-term business goals.

• Partner with Finance & HR teams and the CTO to uncover and implement scalable, innovative solutions.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Oversee end-to-end architecture and delivery of secure, scalable enterprise solutions.

• Ensure technical excellence and alignment with both current and future business needs.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

• Align senior leaders, agile teams, and business units on strategic tech initiatives.

• Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams to drive shared understanding and results.

Agile Innovation & Tech Evaluation

• Champion agile, iterative approaches to adopting emerging technologies.

• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within agile teams.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional tech team in an agile environment.

• Encourage continuous learning, collaboration, and career growth.

Governance & Compliance

• Establish governance to ensure solutions meet regulatory and security standards.

• Conduct regular reviews to maintain architectural integrity and compliance.

Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement

• Embed agile methodologies across delivery teams to enable rapid iteration and adaptability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, STEM, or related field; solution architecture or agile certifications (e.g. TOGAF, SAFe Agilist) preferred.

• Extensive experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions across cloud, infrastructure, and applications.

• Proven leadership in shaping Finance & HR solution architecture strategies that align technology with business goals, agility, and innovation.

• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration within matrix organisations to deliver integrated technical and business solutions.

• Strong track record leading solution design in agile transformations, with deep knowledge of frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
