HR & Recruitment Manager (Care Sector) Location: Horsham (HQ), Eastbourne & Hove (sites across West and East Sussex) Salary: £33,000 – £40,000 (based on experience, negotiable) Transport: Must drive and have access to own vehicle Contract: Full-Time (Flexible WFH with regular site visits) About the Role Quality Care Recruit is delighted to present an excellent opportunity on behalf of a reputable residential care home provider with multiple sites across West and East Sussex. We are seeking a skilled HR & Recruitment Manager to oversee and streamline recruitment processes, with a particular focus on managing the sponsorship of overseas workers. This pivotal role includes handling the Sponsorship Management System (SMS), ensuring compliance with international employment law, and guiding international workers through migration, visa transitions, and permanent employment under sponsorship contracts. Reporting to the business owner, the role is key to ensuring a qualified and capable workforce to meet the needs of their care services. The role requires flexibility in working hours to maintain communication across different time zones. The position is flexible for remote work but will involve regular visits to care home sites in West and East Sussex. The post holder is able to work at/visit any site across West & East Sussex. Key Responsibilities Recruitment Management: Oversee and execute the full recruitment cycle for care home workers, including planning and onboarding. Sponsorship Compliance: Manage the SMS, ensuring adherence to international employment law, worker migration, and visa requirements. Employee Transition Support: Facilitate the transition of overseas workers into sponsored, direct, and permanent employment. International Recruitment Strategy: Maintain contact with candidates and agencies across various time zones to maximise recruitment success. Stakeholder Collaboration: Assist the business owner in ensuring the care workforce is adequately staffed with qualified professionals. Workplace Visits: Conduct site visits as required to support recruitment and HR initiatives across multiple care home sites. What We’re Looking For Experience: Proven background in recruitment and HR, with experience in sponsorship and international employment processes. Knowledge: Familiarity with employment law, migration, visas, and recruitment strategies for international workers. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours to communicate effectively across time zones. Transport: A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly. Compliance: Ability to undertake and pass a DBS check. Qualifications: A CIPD qualification is highly desirable, though candidates with equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.
