The purpose of the role of the Senior IT Domain Architect is to commercialize and expand our reduced risk products by building and rolling out a new digital platform globally. Our consumer and retailer engagement platforms provide best-in-class consumer experiences through our end-to-end consumer journeys; from product discovery, purchasing, device registration to after-sales support.
The Senior IT Domain Architect is responsible for defining technology and architecture for new capabilities, improving and simplifying the current landscape, and managing platforms' non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance, or extensibility.
As Senior IT Domain Architect, you are responsible for practices of development, assurance, and non-functional requirements across all product teams within your domain. You will ensure all phases of software engineering are efficient and operate with maximum agility to delight our consumers. You are accountable for defining the Product Group's (Domain) technical roadmap and supporting the strategy, guiding the product teams on new technology and providing technical frameworks.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Creating capabilities roadmap from decomposing the current digital platforms into distinct reusable capabilities.
- Setting overall standards and direction in the business/technical domain, ensuring the right IT investments are made.
- Collaborating with Product Manager and Delivery Manager to create Product Group vision and enable Product Teams to deliver value to the customer.
- Driving opportunities to improve architecture domain and ensuring domain architecture is in line with Security and Compliance policies.
- Advising global business owners during business processes definition to improve the usage of standard technology solution functionalities.
- Supporting Technical Architects to develop detailed and complete functional specifications for complex use cases.
- Working with multiple teams to define and improve the DevSecOps framework.
What is needed to succeed in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or other IT related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in IT delivery or related field.
- Deep expertise in architecture transformation, modular/composable architecture, and working in a product-based setup.
- Strong Enterprise IT architecture background.
- Experience in crafting solution architecture with SaaS/PaaS, custom built, AWS applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical and results focused.
- An understanding of how complex matrixed organizations operate; international experience is an advantage.
