Site Services Senior Engineer

DXC are hiring a skilled engineer with good experience on Network infrastructure and building and configuring digital peripherals. The successful candidate will support several Digital Infrastructure projects associated with modifications in operational areas.

Skills & Capabilities

• Good understanding of Network & Infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, switches, routers, patching) and be able to provide support as guided by professional engineers or specialists.
• Ability to supervise a small team of junior engineers, guide and act as a point of escalation for difficult or complex problems.
• Ability to identify systemic issues, continuous improvement opportunities, potential issues and raise them to management.
• Ability to take on end user support and infrastructure project work support.
• Able to support end-user computer devices (PC & mobile), office devices (printers, AV equipment), and peripherals.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in supporting Microsoft Windows & Office suite.
• Experience in working in an ITIL-driven environment and working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes with strong knowledge of incidents, change and configuration management and adherence processes, best practices and policies.
• Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment & large-scale multinational environment (preferred).
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in the local language and proficient in English (verbal & written), considering that in such countries where English is not a primary language for business, the engineer should only need technical English reading and understanding capabilities.
• Self-directed work style with the ability to prioritize work activities and communicate politely, clearly, and effectively in support of internal customers on technical matters.

Expected Qualification & Work Experience

• At least 5 plus years of related working experience.
