Joining Product & Operations IT: Within IT, the IT Product and Operations team is an experienced, nimble & expert team composed of multiple sub streams. The main purpose of the team is to lead the digital strategy and transformation of Operations and Products functions through effective business partnering and conceptualising, delivering and supporting innovative and secure IT technologies across the end-to-end value chain.
What’s the purpose of this role? We are seeking an IT PROJECT MANAGER to join our IT Operations Manufacturing team. This role can be located in UK, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland or Italy. As IT PROJECT MANAGER, you will contribute to the execution of PMI strategy by leading all phases of assigned projects (medium to large and/or cross-functional), solving a business need through the application of project management practices.
Where we See This Role Going: As we transition to a more diversified Smoke-Free Product (SFP) portfolio, we will need to further expand our SFP manufacturing footprint, as well as review and update our factory system landscape to fit the factory of the future. This individual will engage with our manufacturing partners to lead the IT delivery stream, ensuring we provide a modern solution for the MES of the future, to support standardised business capabilities. You will grow our IT Operations Manufacturing SFP Expansion Program team and become an integral component of our Smoke-free Product scale-up strategy.
Your day-to-day: As a Project Manager reporting into IT Operations Manufacturing team, you will contribute to the execution of PMI strategy and the platform roadmap by leading all phases of projects/programs to achieve expected business outcomes and timelines, through the application of agile and project management practices. Specifically, you will lead the IT stream of the Legacy systems transformation program, which is looking at modernising manufacturing execution critical applications system landscape currently deployed over 30 locations, to fit the factory of the future and deliver a more sustainable set of solutions in order to reduce Operations systems footprint.
What is needed to succeed in this Role?
- Demonstrable experience in successfully completing critical IT application transformation projects or programs (modernisation of customised legacy systems) with high organisational visibility.
- Validated experience in Information Technology or Business Function.
- Substantial project management experience in global organisation handling global/large scale projects.
- Shown experience of leading sizable cross-culture teams and remote teams in Project Management.
- Experience in using JIRA, Confluence.
- Strong risk management and mitigation skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Strong presentation skills and excellent command of English.
- Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, IPMA, Certified Scrum Master,…).
Preferred Requirements:
- Shown knowledge in Manufacturing Practices, Product Specification & Process Manufacturing Standards, Quality System, Industrialization and manufacturing processes, Procurement & Supply Chain practice and principles.
- Experience in IT departments in a consumer product manufacturing industry.
