VP - migration project

Our client, a leading Asset Manager, is looking for a VP to oversee a high-level migration project.

Role : VP
Rate : £500 – £750
Payment Framework : Employment Company (inside IR35)
Contract start date : June 2025
Current end date : June 2027
Location : London, on-site Monday to Friday (office based)

Requirements:

• Asset Management knowledge, preferably middle office
• Preferably good understanding of Trade lifecycle, or Investment Accounting
• Experience with systems integration, production parallel testing, run book management
• Technical knowledge of Excel or VBA

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and secure migration of historical to new systems
• Develop a comprehensive migration strategy and roadmap, detailing timelines, resources, and risk management
• Collaborate with stakeholders and internal departments to gather requirements and ensure the new system meets specific requirements
• Oversee the configuration and customization of the systems ensuring they assist with current and new workflows and processes
• Run test scenarios to check system functionalities
• Review data integrity pre-and post-migration
• Support with system requirements of current systems
• Provide ongoing support during the migration, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring continuity of operations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, including technical specifications, user guides, and support materials
