An amazing opportunity has arisen to join the Sofitel London St James Team as a Reservations Supervisor. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the team to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient handling of reservation inquiries.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reservations department, including managing room availability, rates, and special requests.
  • Conduct training sessions for reservation agents to enhance their skills and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Interact with guests to assist with reservation inquiries, provide information about the hotel’s offerings, and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Front Office and Sales, to optimize room inventory, maximize revenue, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Generate and analyze reservation reports to identify trends, monitor performance, and implement strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Entitlement to work in the UK is mandatory for this position.
  • Being fluent in French is a strong skill for this role.
  • Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems, including Opera.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high standard of personal presentation with confident, professional and welcoming personality.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
