About the Role

As Campus Director, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple campuses, ensuring they deliver an exceptional student experience while aligning with BIMM University’s mission, vision, and goals. You will oversee campus leadership, staff, resources, facilities, student wellbeing, and engagement, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where students can thrive. This role has two key priorities:

  • Ensuring the effective and efficient use of campus spaces to support academic success.
  • Creating a welcoming and inclusive campus culture that enhances the student experience.

You will also act as the Campus Dean for Brighton, while leading the operational areas of student wellbeing, estates, timetabling, community engagement, and health & safety across multiple campuses. Working closely with Heads of School, Faculty PVCs, and Deans of Subject, you will drive continuous improvement and innovation in campus operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage a group of campuses, ensuring consistency in student experience, facilities, and campus culture.
  • Oversee campus operations, including student wellbeing, estates, timetabling, and health & safety.
  • Act as a visible and approachable leader, regularly engaging with students and staff to enhance retention and student satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that improve student engagement, campus facilities, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to maximise student benefit.
  • Work with central teams to standardise best practices and ensure compliance with university policies.
  • Serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring student wellbeing and support services are delivered effectively.
  • Drive partnerships with local cultural organisations and community initiatives to enhance student opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and recruitment teams to support student admissions, open days, and outreach activities.
  • Represent BIMM University externally, building strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in the creative arts or industry.
  • Extensive leadership experience within Higher Education, with a track record of enhancing the student experience.
  • Strong knowledge of student life issues, including mental health, health & safety, and community initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage complex operations across multiple locations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • A strategic mindset with a data-driven approach to improving student satisfaction and campus services.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaborative initiatives.
