Position Overview: Contributes to the overall success of the Structured Notes team within the GWO Middle Office in the UK & Globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / achieved in line with the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Structured Notes desk, including trade lifecycle support, trade administration and verification, compliance monitoring, reconciliation oversight, and client service.
What You’ll Do:
- Build out the European Structured Notes Middle Office team, ensuring alignment with global procedures.
- Processing of all UK & EMEA Structured notes transactions including all lifecycle events.
- Provide support on Structured note issuances.
- Trade verification and reconciliations.
- Identify and explore issues related to securities and derivatives settlement that require investigation or research.
- Work closely with Front, Middle and Back offices globally in order to improve operational efficiency.
- Be a partner to the wider UK & EMEA Middle Office teams.
What You’ll Bring:
- Detailed knowledge of Structured Note issuance and lifecycle management.
- Solid knowledge/experience in banking/capital markets operations.
- Good knowledge of Equity & Fixed Income products.
- Strong analytical & organizational skills and capability to react to financial risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate, influence and interact professionally with a diverse group of Front Office Users, QAs, Developers, and SMEs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of analytical problem solving and process engineering techniques (i.e. process mapping and analysis techniques).
- Result oriented, deadline driven, self-motivated.
