Staying Well is an innovative out of hours crisis mental health service which supports clients experiencing a mental health crisis. Staying Well provides crisis intervention to increase resilience and coping skills, empowering clients to safely manage their wellbeing within the community. We are open 7 days a week, (including bank holidays), from 5pm on weekdays and 3pm at the weekend. This role will involve evening and some weekend working.

You will provide brief interventions designed to help people safely deescalate and manage their emotional distress in the short term and support people to identify their needs so they can connect with the appropriate wider networks to aid in their recovery journeys.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of working with people with mental health needs, a good understanding of local NHS/Community support services, be able to demonstrate a high level of resilience, and an ability to work autonomously.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of our innovative community mental health services within Brighton. It also provides an opportunity for successful candidates to widen their experience in supporting people with a wide range of mental health challenges.
