1X2 has pioneered Virtual Gaming products since 2002 and are now at the forefront of game development with over 150 titles, including Virtual Sports, Table Games, Slots, Instant Win and shortly Multiplayer games in the iGaming industry. Several brands construct the 1X2 Network, each business targeting specific market niches. The Position:
The role of Game Developer is a creative and dynamic role. The key responsibilities include:
- Maintain and troubleshoot issues on our award-winning portfolio, including the EGR Operator Awards Game of the Year 2020 “Branded Megaways”.
- Design and extend our award-winning codebase by adding new games and features.
- Follow correct version control policies and procedures.
- Liaising with the Graphic Design team to set up the individual game configs.
- Ensure full compliance with industry best coding practices and change management procedures and policies.
- Contribute to meetings and help formulate innovative ideas and features for games.
- Write UNIT tests for new classes.
- Document frameworks using the standard documentation policy.
- Liaising with the internal departments to improve the product and keep up to date with tickets assigned.
- Ensure multiple variations of the games are available to meet our customer demands.
- Utilise a variety of contemporary software development tools, while owning and leading any improvements in the team.
Required Experience:
- Relevant degree in computer science, game development with front end development experience.
- Can work well in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is an essential skill.
- An interest in learning more about the online gambling industry.
