Manager | Energy and Carbon – Hospitality Reporting to: Senior Manager | Data Competitive salary range circa £40K Full time Hybrid, with at least 2 days in office 5 Merchant Square, Paddington, London January start. As demand for effective, data-driven solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the hospitality industry is growing, Considerate Group has identified the need for an Energy and Carbon Manager for our clients through expert advisory services and a commitment to impactful outcomes. A growing number of Considerate’s clients require technical support focused on building technology, systems, and fabric, including recommendations for operational changes, capex investments, and due diligence. Reporting to the Senior Manager | Data, this role will lead on the delivery of high-quality products, services, and strategic projects with a focus on technical delivery and product development as well as supporting clients with ongoing resource consumption data analyses, using client-facing and in-house tools. Key to the role is effective communication coupled with a technical mindset and the ability to build trust and rapport with existing and prospective clients, partners, and the team. Having relevant expertise in assessing building energy, preferably in the hospitality sector, the candidate will coordinate and lead the development of carbon reduction and energy consumption management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Technical Delivery (50%) Deliver energy and carbon assessments, technical due diligence, net-zero strategies, and other technical services for hospitality clients, predominantly across Europe (periodic short-trips required) Provide bespoke financial, engineering, and asset-level decarbonisation analyses reports with actionable recommendations Perform energy and carbon benchmarking using operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Develop costed energy and carbon efficiency recommendations, scenarios and pathways based on state-of-the-art interventions and in alignment with long-term client investment strategies Support clients in utilising Considerate’s ESG data platform, Con-Serve, for onboarding, training, support, data management, including reporting Support proposal and bid writing activities, showcasing Considerate’s unique value proposition As part of a team with a relatively flat reporting structure, support colleagues at all levels as needed to ensure effective client/project delivery Project Management (20%) Oversee project delivery, ensuring resource efficiency, scope alignment, and timely completion using Considerate’s internal CRM systems Track and evaluate project outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary for optimal performance Provide clear direction and leadership to project teams, including line management of junior staff Business Development (15%) Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and technical partners to expand the energy and low-carbon service offering Build business through relationship and business development of existing clients.
