The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced and fully qualified, Senior Finance professional to join a leading, UK based client. The role is based onsite in Renfrew so applicants must be able to fully commit to the office location.

The purpose of the appointment will include the full Financial business partnering and stewardship of the UK Operations results in accordance with forecast, budget and future growth plans.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Financial Business partner to the Group Financial Controller and Finance Director
  • Support and challenge growth plan initiatives to drive prioritisation of corporate approval, investment and incorporate them into future target setting.
  • Facilitate Sales forecast alignment derived from operational capacity v demand of order backlog and future requirements.
  • Interface between operations and salesforce systems and personnel to present full picture of expected results.
  • Provide and drive solutions to mitigate mis-alignment of forecast v annual budget, identify opportunities to exceed targets.
  • Provide month end performance report v forecast, budget and prior year at a meaningful level for the audience to understand and remember.
  • Educate the regional team and stakeholders about the financial aspects driving the business and identify potential risks to focus team priorities.
  • Promote the use of standard reports and tools to eliminate side systems and drive good quality data management.
  • Develop Net Working Capital management and improvement plans with the business partners to maximise individual project cashflow.
  • Challenge the need for expenditure to enable control of fixed cost bases and hourly rates.
  • Identify personal training requirements in order to further develop for business improvement.
  • Mentor and coach direct personnel and others as required.
  • Ensure your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
  • Facilitate the requirements of relevant management systems.
  • Co-operate with the company to enable it to discharge its own responsibilities effectively.
  • All other duties as relevant to the post.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in senior finance role
  • ERP experience
  • Extensive stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Strong IT and systems literacy
  • Proactive approach
