Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst in the Wakefield area. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our clients growing team, at their Wakefield office.
As Finance Analyst, you will support the objectives of the Finance team for the Region, providing financial and commercial reporting and analysis, developing and managing excellent relationships with our stakeholders, provision of internal and external reporting, and maintaining financial control for the business unit.
Qualified with ACA/ACCA or CIMA and working in an accounting management team is essential for this role. Experience working with COINS and/or ANAPLAN ERP Systems would be desirable. If you have a keen eye for detail and have a strong IT working knowledge then this could be the role for you.
As Finance Analyst you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Preparation of management accounts for the core business and joint ventures with variance analysis to identify trends and provide commentary.
- Monitor and report on key metrics both financial and non-financial, to report to joint venture partners and provide to management.
- Assisting with monthly and weekly forecasting including updating system information on sales. This includes ownership of P&L and supporting schedules to ensuring forecasting is accurately reflected in the system.
- Ownership of revenue valuations claims and forecasting.
- Ensuring the integrity of data within the financial system is maintained through regular reviews of plot data and implement changes to data management requested by Central teams.
- Participate in period end processing, journals to process actuals, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting to the Group Finance Team.
- Participate in interim and full year audit, including audits for joint ventures.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects such as implementing Group harmonization of procedures, requests for analysis, seeking out ways to improve current processes and internal controls.
- Assistance as required with annual budget and strategic planning cycles.
