About the Company:

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants based in Redhill. They are currently seeking a Semi-Senior Auditor/Accountant (ACA/ACCA) to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting role for an experienced auditor or accountant looking to take the next step in their career. With opportunities for professional growth and genuine partnership prospects, you will play a key role in the team, leading audit assignments, preparing accounts, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend pre-audit meetings and collaborate with Directors and clients to plan assignments.
  • Lead and supervise audit teams, ensuring compliance with technical and client-specific requirements.
  • Design and execute risk-based audit approaches and audit tests.
  • Manage and control budgets for assignments, ensuring deadlines are met effectively.
  • Prepare accounts, tax computations, and management accounts for clients.
  • Finalize files for review by senior management.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff, fostering professional growth.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Recently or part-qualified ACA/ACCA.
  • Significant and recent experience in audit within a practice environment.
  • Strong technical skills with a thorough understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102 reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • A collaborative team player with proven leadership capabilities.
