We are looking for a Fabrication Manager to lead and manage projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. You will oversee commercial, technical, and scheduling activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations that increase capacity and margins. This role requires a positive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues, clients, and suppliers, while setting high standards for others to follow.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are met across all operations, following best practices and legal requirements
- Support TEXO’s continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage project tendering, providing commercial and technical reviews before submission
- Lead multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards
- Estimate fabrication costs and prepare quotes based on enquiries
- Organise and lead Kick-Off Meetings with key team members
- Attend management, project, and client meetings as needed
- Oversee project budgets, reporting, and schedules
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Ensure client expectations and contract requirements are fully understood
- Work with the cost control team to support accurate decision-making
- Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, managing any variations as needed
- Mentor and guide junior team members within the Engineering & Fabrication division
- Maintain professionalism and diligence in all aspects of work
