Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions to students, ensuring that each session is tailored to the student’s unique needs and learning goals.
- Develop individualised learning plans and strategies to help students engage with and progress in their studies.
- Offer emotional and academic support, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track the student’s progress, providing regular feedback.
- Use a variety of resources and interactive activities to keep students engaged.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the student’s learning style, abilities, and interests.
- A strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and their families.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
