A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join their Humanities department. This is a full-time position starting immediately, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and reflection.
- Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the school’s curriculum and values.
- Encourage critical thinking and open dialogue around cultural, religious, and ethical topics.
- Contribute to the wider school ethos and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching RE at KS3 & KS4.
- A reflective practitioner with excellent classroom management skills.
- A commitment to nurturing a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
