Production Operative in Oswestry

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading FMCG company, in their search for Production Operatives to work in their leading facility in Oswestry.

For the successful Production Operative, our client is offering:

• £34,000 per annum starting salary, rising to £38000 after completing 12 week probation
• 3 on 3 off 5.50 am to 5.50 pm and 5.50 pm to 5.50 am (3 days/3 nights)
• Opportunity for progression
• Permanent role

The role – Production Operative:

• To operate production machinery safely in order to produce the product to the correct customer specification
• Ensure that all Quality Assurance checks are carried out
• Analyse and adhere to a production plan
• Picking and packing
• Working towards targets
• Using production IT systems
• Working to strict Food Hygiene standards

What our client is looking for in a Production Operative:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment – ESSENTIAL
• Machine operating experience – ESSENTIAL
• Food manufacturing experience – DESIRABLE
• Demonstratable stability in work history
• Strong attention to details
• Good computer skills
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
