JAB Recruitment is currently looking to source a Subsea Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading subsea services provider specialising in offshore energy solutions. This is a contract position, based in Kingswells (can be outside IR35, LTD Companies are encouraged to apply).
PROJECT OBJECTIVES: The client requires project engineering support with experience of activities within the Recycling and SURF sector. The engineering support required shall include support to deliver tenders, which are under consideration by clients and would be performed as part of 2025/2026 execution campaigns. The support requires preliminary engineering methodology development, project engineering support, and documentation.
INPUT REQUIREMENTS:
- Deck layouts in PDF and CAD.
- GA and P&IDs of the pipelines, structures, PLEM, and client assets for each tender.
- 3rd party equipment providers on approved vendor list.
- ITT from the clients.
- Access to the system to review documentation.
- Access to the vessel and equipment for site visits and SITs as required.
- Confirmation of vessels for execution and access to all vessel information as required.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Develop methodologies for these scopes of work and align any synergies.
- Propose deck plans for the works.
- Propose storyboards and methodologies for the works.
- Provide a project equipment list and pricing.
- Provide RFQs for key suppliers to develop this work type approach.
- Prepare engineering procedures and documentation.
- Liaise with the commercial technical manager and tender managers to support the delivery of the tenders.

- Proposed execution plan.
- Method statements.
- Storyboards.
- Deck layouts.
- Proposed equipment list.
- Prepare and review RFQs for equipment for technical evaluation.
- Provide technical input to the planning of the operations and liaise with the planner.
