We're looking for a commercially sharp and people-driven Senior Sales Manager to join one of London's most exciting and creative venue brands. This is a chance to lead the sales function at a standout events space that regularly hosts a mix of brand activations, conferences, cultural events, private celebrations and immersive experiences - all under one iconic roof.

You'll be joining a business with serious energy and ambition - a venue that blends culture, music, wellness and innovation, offering event clients something truly different. Your role will be to lead a small, high-performing team, own the commercial strategy, and grow revenue by attracting and securing premium B2B and private bookings.

What You'll Do

  • You'll be responsible for the full sales lifecycle, from generating leads and responding to enquiries, through to pitching, negotiating and closing deals.
  • You'll work across a wide range of event types and client profiles - from global brands and creative agencies to fast-scaling start-ups and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of 4 sales professionals.
  • Develop and deliver a revenue growth strategy for the venue.
  • Proactively generate new business from corporate, agency and private clients.
  • Respond to inbound enquiries with tailored proposals and creative solutions.
  • Negotiate and close high-value event contracts with confidence and clarity.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaign messaging and content.
  • Present sales performance and pipeline updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure a seamless client journey from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.

This is an onsite role based at the venue, where you'll be an integral part of a creative, sociable and fast-paced environment. Some evening and weekend flexibility is required depending on the event calendar.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a confident sales leader with deep knowledge of the events or venue hire sector, and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for clients.

You'll likely have:

  • 5+ years of experience in event sales, venue hire, hospitality or experiential marketing.
  • A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small team.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills.
  • A contact book of agencies, brands or corporate event planners (London-focused a bonus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining service excellence.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar) and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and strong sense of personal accountability.

Experience working in a lifestyle-led, creative or cultural environment will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will be just as comfortable closing six-figure deals as they are motivating junior team members and pitching creative concepts to senior stakeholders.

Why Join?

You'll be stepping into a brand that's known for pushing boundaries, celebrating culture, and creating space for unforgettable events. You'll be given autonomy, responsibility and room to grow - with a leadership team that supports your success.

In return, you'll benefit from:

  • Competitive salary (£50-55k) + generous commission + annual company bonus.
  • Free onsite breakfast, lunch and hot drinks daily.
  • Private gym, wellness classes and on-site fitness studio.
  • Your birthday off, dog-friendly office and flexible working hours (on-site).
  • Access to internal cultural events and hospitality discounts.

If you're ready to lead from the front, build a strong sales pipeline, and help shape the future of one of London's most creative venue brands - we'd love to hear from you.
