About the Role: As a member of the risk management function within the second line of defence, the role holder will contribute to enhancing, embedding, and maintaining the Company’s risk management system. This role reports to the Head of the Global Risk Hub, working a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in the office, 2 days a week remote. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, well-organised and enthusiastic about contributing to the success of a rapidly growing business.
Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Contribute to the continuous development, embedding and operation of the Company’s risk management framework to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business.
- Co-ordinate, produce, update and manage risk information and records ensuring data accuracy and integrity is maintained.
- Liaise with colleagues across all functions to co-ordinate risk activity.
- Coordinate and produce risk reporting providing insight and analysis of risk information.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Experience working within financial services.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships across the business.
- Self-motivated, with the capacity to work autonomously, as part of a team and across teams.
- Excellent Microsoft Office capabilities and proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience within risk management, audit, governance, internal control or compliance is preferred.
- Experience with GRC tools a plus.
- Risk management qualification a plus.
