Medical Cannabis Industry

Location: Fully Remote for a Private Clinic on the Isle of Man

This role will be paid hourly and will require the doctor to do 5-10 hours per week, with flexibility and potential for more as the company grows. You are allowed to prescribe medical cannabis for other cannabis or non-cannabis clinics whilst working with this clinic.

Company Overview

Our client is one of the leading medical cannabis clinics in the Isle of Man. They currently have a leading pharmacy that has been dispensing medical cannabis to patients across the Isle of Man, and due to having such good feedback from patients about their pharmacy operations, they are now launching a medical cannabis clinic to be able to provide great customer service and patient care right at the beginning of the patients journey. As pioneers in this field, they are transforming healthcare by improving access to high-quality, evidence-based cannabis treatments for patients with chronic and debilitating conditions. They were established over 1 year ago, and have over 12 employees currently.

Their clinic is dedicated to breaking down barriers to treatment, ensuring that patients receive safe, legal, and affordable medical cannabis prescriptions in line with Isle of Man regulations. By providing expert-led consultations, seamless patient support, and a compassionate approach, we are reshaping the medical landscape and setting new standards for specialist care on the island.

Job Summary

As a GMC-registered Specialist Consultant, you will play a leading role in assessing and prescribing for patients with conditions such as chronic pain, neurological disorders, mental health conditions, and palliative care needs, depending on your specialism.

Working within a fully integrated ecosystem—from consultation to prescription and supply—you will help streamline access to medical cannabis, making a meaningful difference to patients who have struggled to find effective treatments.

This role offers the chance to work autonomously while being fully supported by a multidisciplinary team, including pharmacists, nurses, and regulatory specialists. You will have the flexibility to shape patient care pathways, contribute to clinical best practices, and even play a role in shaping policy and education around medical cannabis on the Isle of Man.

With competitive remuneration, flexible working options, and the opportunity to lead in a groundbreaking medical field, this role is perfect for a forward-thinking consultant looking to be at the cutting edge of specialist prescribing.
