We're Hiring: Head of Avionics – Exciting Opportunity at Sywell Aerodrome, Northampton.
Volantes Recruitment is partnering with an outstanding client to find a Head of Avionics to join their growing team at Sywell Aerodrome. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a varied fleet of VIP and Air Ambulance aircraft, including the AW109 and AW169 variants, based at the heart of their heavy maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a skilled team of Avionics Engineers
- Supervise B2 maintenance activities
- Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance tasks
- Handle Line maintenance and defect rectification
- Champion safety and quality standards across the department
What We’re Looking For:
- UK CAA B2 licence
- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- AW109 and/or AW169 type ratings (preferable)
