Summary
The IoT Solutions Architect will support the Sales team in understanding customer requirements, explaining KORE products and cellular technology to customers, learning IoT technology solutions, and contributing to solution design with KORE\’s customers. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow technical expertise in IoT while developing customer-facing skills. Ultimately, the Solutions Architect is a key team member in Sales and their primary function is to help grow revenue.
Core Accountabilities
- Participate in, and document, discovery and design meetings with customers and KORE participant teams
- Support Sales and senior team members in gathering customer requirements related to IoT/mobility environments and technical needs
- Learn to design and/or recommend IoT & mobility lifecycle management solutions under guidance of experienced team members
- Assist in creating solution proposals, when necessary, that meet customer\’s stated goals
- Support solution presentations to customers alongside Sales and senior Solutions Architects
- Help prepare Statements of Work with supervision from experienced team members, when necessary
- Build expertise in IoT and Mobility related technologies and industry trends through continuous learning
- Collaborate across KORE organizations including Product, Marketing, Professional Services, Network, and IT
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems (or other related technology degree) or equivalent field experience
- 1-2 years\’ experience in technical roles related to networking, telecommunications, or IoT
- Basic knowledge of mobile networks and technologies
- Basic understanding of IP Networking concepts and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with IoT platforms and devices or willingness to learn quickly
- Curiosity and desire to learn quickly and apply learnings to job functions
Skills/Competencies
- Strong desire to learn and grow in IoT solutions architecture
- Good communication skills with the capability to develop excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to admit knowledge gaps and commitment to finding accurate answers
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfort with asking questions and seeking guidance from experienced team members
