Cleaner - Hospital

Part Time Cleaner Overview: We are seeking cleaning operatives to work up to 3 hours per night with a minimum of 5 nights per week to join our team working in the Dialysis and Cancer care units. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to NHS 2021 cleaning standards. Responsibilities: – Perform dedicated cleaning duties of the treatment rooms, offices, patient areas such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming – Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas – Empty trash receptacles and replace liners – Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors – Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages – Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment – Adhere to company policies and procedures Skills: Must be living within a 30-minute drive of Newbury, Berkshire – Previous experience in NHS cleaning is preferred but not essential – Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment – Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team – Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently – Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines You will be employed by the company Job Type: Part time Pay: £12.50 per hour Expected hours: 12hrs per week Benefits: * Company pension * On-site parking Experience: * Cleaning: 1 year (preferred) * NHS cleaning standards 2021: 1 year (preferred) Language: * Good level of English Work Location: Hospital/In person
