Senior Civil 3D Technician – Open to both Contract and Permanent applications\\nVertical Recruitment are working with a successful civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Manchester, and due to an expanding workload, they're looking to welcome an experienced Civil 3D Technician to their Manchester team.\\nThey work across a range of large-scale private developments, and are proud of the reputation they've built — not just for delivering quality work, but for nurturing talent.\\nAbout the Role – As a Civil 3D Technician, you’ll play a key part in the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions, working closely with our engineers, clients, and stakeholders across a variety of private development schemes.\\nYou’ll be responsible for:\\n * Preparing and reviewing detailed design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.\\n * Identifying site constraints and designing public highways and drainage systems.\\n * Supporting the technical approval process including S104, S38, and S278 submissions.\\n * Producing and coordinating technical reports and design documents.\\n * Collaborating with both internal teams and external clients.\\n * Supporting and mentoring junior staff.\\nWhat We’re Looking For\\n * Educated to HNC/HND or Degree level in Civil Engineering.\\n * A minimum of 5 years’ design experience in the civils sector.\\n * Solid understanding of infrastructure design from inception through to technical approval and construction.\\n * Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D\\n * Good knowledge of MicroDrainage and SUDs design.\\n * Strong written, numerical, and verbal communication skills.\\n * A collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge and support team growth.\\nWhat's On Offer\\n * A competitive salary tailored to your experience.\\n * Workplace pension scheme.\\n * Training and ongoing professional development.\\n * Sponsorship of Professional Membership.\\n * Benefits package
