Finatal is working with an exciting Special Situations fund who are looking to add a new investor to their high-performing team. They typically focus on distressed situations investing across the capital structure in Europe (both public and private). This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, numerate self-starter to support the PM’s and start to generate investment ideas around complex situations. You will have access to every element of the deal process from day one, working closely with their experienced senior investors.
The Role
- You will target high returning investment ideas and form thesis and structure of trade across public and private markets.
- You will be responsible for performing due diligence assessments and producing reports (commercial, financial, legal…) for new potential investments.
- You will participate in various kinds of analysis and reporting pertaining to existing portfolio companies.
The Requirements
- 5 -7 years of experience in Distressed Debt/Capital Solutions/Special Situations Investing.
- High level of curiosity and depth of risk analysis.
- An exceptional academic track record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
