About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global IT Director to join our client’s team. This pivotal role will oversee the management of a large and diverse tech team, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, security, and web development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading internal technology teams, optimising IT infrastructure, and managing the execution of various global initiatives across multiple international locations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage global IT teams across various regions, ensuring the seamless functioning of all systems and operations.
• Oversee the security and performance of IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the highest security standards.
• Manage and optimise web development projects, ensuring timely delivery and the implementation of best practices.
• Take full ownership of the internal tech team systems, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align technology strategies with business goals.
• Oversee Office 365 and cloud technologies, ensuring efficiency and proper usage across all locations.
• Lead remote teams effectively, ensuring strong communication, collaboration, and results.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar senior leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in IT systems, security protocols, and web development.
• Experience managing large, remote teams across international locations.
• Expertise in Office 365, with a deep understanding of cloud technology and SaaS management.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) to communicate effectively with international teams.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
