Are you a strategic and dynamic leader with expertise in finance, operations, and multi-academy trust growth? Heathland Whitefriars Federation Multi-Academy Trust is looking for an exceptional Chief Financial and Operations Officer (COFO) to play a key role in driving the Trust forward as we develop.

About the Role

  • Lead all non-academic operations, including finance, estates, HR, IT, and governance.
  • Ensure financial sustainability and compliance with the Academy Trust Handbook.
  • Support the Trust’s growth strategy, including onboarding new schools.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership and Board of Trustees.
  • Oversee risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What We are Looking For:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finance/business professional with senior leadership experience.
  • A proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership.
  • Experience in multi-academy trusts or education finance (desirable).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
