About My Client: My client is an established 3-partner chartered accountancy firm based in Ashbourne. With an impressive database of clients, my client has been providing high-quality chartered accountancy services for over 30 years. Their offices are located less than 10 minutes from the M50, serving a broad range of clients, including those in audit, non-audit, sole trader, and various industry sectors.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be able to prepare accounts and working papers to review stage
- Must have excellent verbal and written English
General Duties and Responsibilities of the Part Qualified Accountant:
- Preparation of year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage
- Ability to reconcile balance sheet items including VAT, Payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with posting journals onto accounting software
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts
- Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with agreed deadlines, ability to follow checklists, procedures, and process requirements
- Assist with year-end close out and year-end journals
- Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
- Liaising with clients – confident in dealing with clients over the phone and through written correspondence
- Assisting manager on special client assignments
Minimum 2 plus years general accounting practice experience
