Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm Mon to Thurs & 8.30am to 2.30pm on Fridays. (Remote days, Mondays and Fridays)

About My Client: My client is an established 3-partner chartered accountancy firm based in Ashbourne. With an impressive database of clients, my client has been providing high-quality chartered accountancy services for over 30 years. Their offices are located less than 10 minutes from the M50, serving a broad range of clients, including those in audit, non-audit, sole trader, and various industry sectors.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be able to prepare accounts and working papers to review stage
  • Must have excellent verbal and written English

General Duties and Responsibilities of the Part Qualified Accountant:

  • Preparation of year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage
  • Ability to reconcile balance sheet items including VAT, Payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with posting journals onto accounting software
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with agreed deadlines, ability to follow checklists, procedures, and process requirements
  • Assist with year-end close out and year-end journals
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
  • Liaising with clients – confident in dealing with clients over the phone and through written correspondence
  • Assisting manager on special client assignments

Minimum 2 plus years general accounting practice experience
