Due to growth, United Drains are currently looking to recruit a plumber to join their expanding team on a full-time basis. The job role involves reactive plumbing repairs in commercial premises. A typical day would be two or three jobs per day ranging from leaks, toilet repairs, and tap replacement. We are a combined plumbing & drainage company that specialise in the commercial sector. Areas we cover are London and surrounding counties.
Job Details:
- Hours: Monday to Friday - 08.00 to 18.00
- Call out: 1 week per month
The plumber must be competent in most of the following areas, but not all are essential:
- Plumbing (City & Guilds)
- Reactive plumbing in commercial kitchens and toilets
- Basic drain unblocking
- Basic drain internal blockages
- Ability to work confidently in high-end properties
- Carrying out quotes
- Good knowledge in health & safety
Essential Requirements:
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Must be willing to learn and work with drainage
- High standard of communication skills, both written and oral
- High attention to detail and take pride in what they do
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Must be a team player
- Be flexible in your working hours and willing to go on call out rota
- Hold a full driving licence
- DBS check will be required for all plumbing & drainage engineers
