About The Company: Priding themselves in offering South West London with a superior Design & Build Service, their background in architecture and design ensures they create unique living spaces for their clients by focusing on each household's individual needs and requirements. Projects range from domestic builds, extensions, lofts, full house refurbs, bathrooms and landscaping. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Joiner / Carpenter to join their team.
Candidate Skill Requirements:
- The company are looking for an experienced carpenter who can work on site as part of a team.
- Tasks will include both 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry but in particular:
- Roofing: Construct various roof shapes with overhangs/ fascia and soffit detailing.
- Internal Studwork: Building timber stud walls incorporating door linings as well as boxing of steels and framing.
- 2nd Fix: Hanging doors, skirtings, architraves, picture rails etc.
- Kitchens and Cabinetry: Installation of kitchens and bespoke cabinetry.
Key Requirements:
- NVQ or Time-Served Qualified in Joinery & Carpentry.
- Competent in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry and able to work quickly.
- Have attention to detail.
- Have their own basic hand tools.
- Good communication skills and understanding of English.
- Polite & Punctual.
