As part of our continuing growth, we are seeking to recruit an Implementation Consultant with Data Migration experience. The purpose of this role is to lead the planning and movement of data from clients' legacy systems to our IntelliPen suite of products. This will involve designing data mapping and transformation logic, developing automated migration scripts, and validating the integrity of the migrated data.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:
- Proficient in the use of T-SQL, XML and able to work well as part of a team.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge and experience in their area, sound technical knowledge as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
- Liaising with our clients to gather their requirements, produce specifications and configure the functionality requested.
- Managing a diverse workload including multiple parallel tasks and prioritising your time and tasks effectively.
Key Skills And Experience:
- Proven track record in designing and implementing data migration solutions, including data mapping, transformation, reconciliations and validation.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, data modelling, and normalisation.
- Experience in relational databases such as SQL Server.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimise queries and database structures for improved performance and resource management.
- Proven experience in large-scale data migration projects, preferably within the pensions or financial services industry.
- Skilled in ETL processes, data cleansing, and mapping strategies.
- Experience in implementing software systems.
- Adaptable and agile with a consultative approach.
- Understanding of business processes and workflows.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and organisational skills.
